Grudd Grimnir Specialist Cars

Grudd mining guilds often establish operations in some of the most inhospitable environments one can imagine, from high-gravity super-dense planets rich with precious ore, to razor-ice covered diamond asteroids.  In order to survive in such places, the Grudd make use of the massive Ragnarök class super heavy vehicles, which serve as fully self-contained and heavily armed and armored mobile Fortresses.

The Grimnir Battle Engine is the most versatile of these mighty vehicles.  While not as large or heavily armored as its kin, the Grimnir has the unique ability to haul a wide selection of heavy weaponry in module battle cars - each as large as a heavy tank in their own right.  These cars can be dropped off at strategic locations to provide support where needed most.

Grimnir Specialist Cars are less common than the more often used Weapon Cars, but offer important support roles to the Battle Engine they are attached to.  The Shield Generator creates a massive dome of layered force fields which protect the Battle engine and any nearby units from incoming enemy fire.  The Landing Pad allows an accompanying Tyr RWA to scout ahead of the battle engine, spotting enemy units and relaying firing coordinates back to the Grudd artillery for elimination.  This car contains maintenance crew and fuel for the aircraft for extended missions.  Lastly, the Raven AA Turret protects the battle engine from enemy aircraft with eight individual surface-to-air guided missiles.

A Grudd Grimnir Specialist Car unit consists of 3 30x22x25mm Grimnir Specialist Cars, and 1 Tyr RWA.  Each Specialist Car consists of 1 Hull and 2 Track Sections.  In addition, this unit contain 1 Grimnir Landing Pad, 1 Grimner Shield Generator, and 1 Grimnir Raven AA Turret.  The Tyr RWA Consists of 1 Tyr Hull, and 2 RWA Engines.
